Topshop ! One of Britains greatest success stories, sort of like Burberry, David Beckham, Vivienne Westwood and Harry Potter lol Topshop has been gracing our high streets for decades, so what is with the sudden and ever growing explosion of Topshop clothes.
I certainly can not argue that Topshop is not on trend nor that it is at the epicentre of trendsetting season after season. I can however bring up the subject that am sure is on the minds and the tip of the tongues of many fashion following men and women around the UK, that fashion is not just about the garments you wear. It is a way in which a person can show off their individuality through colour, texture, pattern, fabric and style.
So why is it Topshop is able to churn out men and woman who look identical to each other as if they have just rolled of a conveyabelt. Girls in the same floral designed body con dress or jersey skirt. Lads in the same polo t shirt,jeans and leather pointed ankle boots. When did it become okay for two sometimes even three girls to be on a night out wearing the same outfit ? I suppose my friend Katie was right, it's not the fact that I don't like Topshop but the fact everyone else love it so.
